Sweeney’s Second Skin

by Eyal de Leeuw | 13.08.12

British designer Oliver Sweeney introduces a new season of his pop-up project ‘Tatt0o Your Shoe’ in Selfridges, the department store that takes the demand for bespoke services into a new level.

The idea is simple: when you purchase any pair of Sweeney shoes, you can personalize them with a shoe tattoo. There are no rules or restriction when it comes to tattooing the shoe, with only one suggestion – to use Tan shoes so the designs really show up.
The service runs until August 19 and the first Londoner who will tattoo The Garçonnière’s logo (see above) on his shoe will get a nice dinner in Tel Aviv. Any volunteers?
