The Mixed Bag of Ben Gorham

Mr Ben Gorham, a Swedish gentleman, born to an Indian mother and a Canadian father. and grew up in Toronto, New York and Stockholm. After a career as a professional basketball player and dedicated art studies Gorham has decided to express his creative forces in creating scents.


He launched Byredo in 2006 and quickly it has became one of the smartest scent company working today, with innovative fragrances, creative campaigns and very great collaborations. The Byredo fragrances (perfumes and candels) are sold in stores around the world and the flagship shop under the office in Stockholm.

The Garconniere has imagined Mr. Gorham’s leather weekend bag with silk paisley scarf, old wooden box (with a granddad initials!), golden watch, mushroom toy from organic fabrics, Glenn O’Brien’s book: “How to Be A Man”, aesop cream and both Byredo perfume and candle.
