Element of Cool

If The Garconniere had an ambassador in Milano it would be Marcelo Burlon. He is a pillar of the city’s chic and cultural life,  a one-man enterprise of cool, with an intensive approach to life evolving around his unique personality.

Marcelo moves between the world’s of fashion, music and art effortlessly, often blurring the boundaries between disciplines. Exactly how The Garconniere likes his cultural pie.
Next to being a consultant, editor, stylist, PR, party instigator, DJ (all here) and best friend with Riccardo Tisci and Lea T. – Burlon can now also be called a designer.

He has just released a new line of 23 designed T-shirts, on which he collaborated with graphic designer Giorgio Di Salvo. The shirts depict a range of tribal elements like Patagonian crosses, bird feathers (from his homeland Argentina), as well as references to both nature and night life culture.

The collection will be sold all over the world from Antonioli in Milan to The Webster Miami, Tsum in Moscow, Lane Crawford in China, Selfridges in London, Union in L.A. and more (also online HERE). But what about us? Maybe it’s time time to bring him to the County of Tel Aviv.
