The Garconnieres have had a long relationship with Maison Martin Margiela. From the days when they discovered his beautiful and unique clothes with the 4 stitch label and the secret cult of followers in the late 90’s to the days where H&M and Maison Martin Margiela posters cover Tel Aviv busiest crossroad.

What’s the secret behind MMM and why that collaboration with H&M makes The Garconnieres so excited?
Is it because Margiela taught them to see clothes as an imaginary construction made out of fabrics, surfaces and stitches that give its shape, proportions and breath? Or is because H&M was smart enough to re-issue some of Margiela iconic pieces?

Items in this post are part of the Maison Martin Margiela with H&M collection which will be in stores from November 15th.
