It is fashion week time here in Tel Aviv (as our TEL AVIVIAN colleagues are well reporting). Men’s fashion has never been the strongest link in the Israeli industry but signs show times are changing as two collections were devoted to men (Shay Shalom, David Sason) and two others designers, known for the women’s collection – Dorin Frankfurt and Yosef, created special pieces for men.
The biggest applauds go to Yosef who put everyone in the mood with a beautiful inspiration video showing the most elegant sport of all: Fencing. This led to an impressive line of men’s wear with clean white lines, a futuristic touch, borrowing from the women’s collection his famous patterns all together creating a small yet coherent collection.
