Palazzo Kitsune

This year’s second guest designer Pitti Uomo came from Paris as well, but unlike historical house of Kenzo for Maison Kitsune is was the first time in the brand’s 10 years old to set a fashion show.
Being also a (French cool) record label Kitsune co-founders Masaya Kuroki and Gildas Loaëc came with a fresh idea to present their Fall/Winter 2013 Collection, set in the majestic Palazzo Capponi.

Instead of a traditional catwalk 3 bands from the Kitsune label were chosen to have a live concert (in the Palazzo) and the preppy, classic, well tailored clothes came to live with Saint Lou Lou, Yelle and the good looking Citizens! all performing live for the audience.

The Garconniere can only end with Suzy Menkes’ words summarizing the event (and her article on this year’s Pitti edition): “Kitsuné “happening” offered just the required meld of glorious past with cool future”.
