The season is about to end and to overcome to influx of fashion images The Garconniere dreams of visiting Selfridges’s silent room and reset. The new space, designed by London studio Alex Cochrane Architects, is not intended to be completely silent but rather encourage visitors to lower their voices and take time to unwind. The concept originally dreamed up by founder Gordon Selfridge in 1909 and now come to life.
