Fantastic Tube

London’s style has known many interpretation and documentation throughout the years, but this unique publication is an initiative of Transport For London marking the famous Tube’s 150th anniversary.
Celebrating the different underground lines Penguin Books has published 12 books, each dedicate to a different line. The volume celebrating the East London Line is called “Buttoned-Up” and was produced by the editors of the beloved Fantastic Man magazine.
Examining British fashion through the history of the shirt, the book delves into “the peculiarity of buttoning up one’s shirt, especially in East London” and it seems like a must have for the coming Passover holiday!
