When Millard Drexler, chief executive and chairman of the J. Crew Group, described last year the brand’s signature Ludlow Suit he called it “our  version of the iPhone”. The idea was to create a simple, consistent product with great attention to details.

In order to connect to the suit’s historical tradition J.Crew film team has traveled to Vitale Barberis Canonico, the 17th-century Italian mill from which produces fabric for the Ludlow Suit. The result is a sartorial delight. Enjoy:
