When it comes to charisma and style, both on and off the big screen, Peter O’Toole, who died last Saturday, was the king of them all.

Starting his career as a Shakespearean actor at the British theater, O’Toole reached global fame in 1962 starring in epic “Lawrence of Arabia”. Since then he played in some of the 20th century memorable films next the some of its greatest stars.

With eight Oscar nominations but not even one in his hands, The Garçonnière will always remember O’Toole as a laureate of the Oscar of charm.
