Lines of Duty

by Eyal de Leeuw | 12.11.18

A new collection by local menaswer designer Ariel Bassan is celebrating conceptual and minimal style, inspired by American artist Sol LeWitt. Bassan, in this collection, keeps researching new horizons in contemporary menswear while improving his sophisticated approach and smart design.

Bassan examined LeWitt’s work carefully – using analytic almost mathematical design methods with asymmetry lines, pleating technicians and uneven garments that emphasize each other. The color palette of this collection runs on the monochromatic scale and correlates with the minimal nature of the collection.

This collection was created as part of “Mifal HaPais Incubator For Upcoming Fashion Designers”  – and now it is available online and in the studio.
